Good Evening First Grade Families!
I sent home the last Scholastic Book Orders today! I can't believe it. If you would like to purchase any books, please order online or send in your forms to my by Friday, May 16th. This will be the last opportunity to place an order! Again, there are some great books to purchase for your child to read throughout the summer. Reading should never take a break.
Also, if you have not yet turned in your child's permission slip for our Lewis' Farm study trip, please do so as soon as possible! We will be going on our study trip on Friday, May 30th!
Thursday night is the Reading Celebration at the Rocket Centre. The event is from 6:30-8:30 and the doors will open at 6:00. This is an event you will not want to miss! There will be prizes and fun for everyone! I hope to see everyone there!
Lastly, we will be having our first mock rock practice on Thursday from 3:45-4:45 in the gym. If your child would like to participate, please make sure they have turned in their permission slip. We must have one in order for your child to participate.
